The Brief:
Kudos Interiors is currently contracted to supply furniture to BP International and has done so for over five years. From an initial brief of a task chair study, we were asked to put forward a selection of products. This evolved into the continual supply and installation of products as various projects were rolled out.
Currently Kudos works with their Occupational Health department to solve the specific needs of staff with special requirements. After delivery to the above buildings Kudos carried out individual ergonomic assessments with each user.
We currently advise and supply BP with furniture that meets their strict environmental policy and design ethic.
In addition to task seating, Kudos supplies BP with soft seating, break-out and meeting room furniture.

The Brief:
Kudos Interiors have supplied furniture to this client for over 7 years. We were initially commissioned to carry out the partial relocation of this American legal practice of 200 staff within the same building, working to an “in hours” schedule on New York time.
Kudos Interiors worked with Palmer Associates and put forward a selection of products, tested short listed samples, arranged work in conjunction with the building landlords to ensure minimum disruption to other tenants. Kudos procured and installed all new desking, seating, storage and ancillary furniture. Further we relocated and reconfigured existing furniture. The transfer was carried out and all staff was successfully relocated to their new floor without any impact on the business.
We have, since the initial relocation, furnished a further two floors; one with workstations and the other with large conference facilities.

To provide high quality office furnishings for this Atlanta based American legal firm’s first European office.

To fit out and refurbish expansion offices for this major software company in Germany.
Kudos Interiors provided technical assistance in the selection of the office furnishings for the entire building. Kudos managed the full lifecycle from survey to hand-over. To project manage the refurbishment of existing offices for this top 250 quoted property company. Kudos supplied and installed all furniture, designs and procured furniture to match the existing where necessary.
After allocating a dedicated, on-site project manager to the programme, Kudos selected procured and installed desking, seating, storage and ancillary furniture to complement the existing scheme. The Brief:
Kudos initially serviced Amoco on a day to day basis, supplying anything from Tate flooring tiles to conference tables.
Amoco decided to make Amoco House London their new European Shared Services Centre which entailed the whole eight floors being refurbished and re-furnished. Kudos was asked to tender for the supply of Steelcase furniture through a Steelcase dealership.
Kudos was successful in winning the £3.5 million furniture project for this prestigious client.
Kudos were responsible for co-ordinating Mock-ups, all the installation drawings, site surveys, product specification, ordering, documentation, co-ordinating with all the other trades, attending weekly site meetings.
Award for Achievement
As the building was still being occupied by the client, careful planning was required to minimise disruption. A massive temporary building was built in the car park, which we furnished with stock and rented furniture. We then moved approx.150 people out of each floor into the temporary building, so the re-fit programme could be carried out.
Each floor was then split into two phases, each phase consisting of 100 people. We attended all site meetings to deal with anything furniture related, and were directly responsible for the smooth running of the installation ensuring completion in each given week. Each phase (2 per floor) consisted of a mix of approx. 100no. desks being of 3 different styles, 120 storage units, 160chairs and various conference tables and items.
We had completed successfully 5 floors out of the eight, when the last three floors were put on hold as Amoco had begun discussions with BP regarding a possible merger.
Mr Jim Jaksa and Gillian Bailey (Nee Thurtle) were delighted with Kudos’ performance, and in recognition we were presented with two awards for our accomplishment.
